J's sister brought over slides and a projector the night before she went back to Illinois. After dinner, we set up our own slide show, drank cafe creme, and looked at a boxful of photographs that J's dad had taken during his days in the Navy.
J and H have been making posters of the national standards of music education so H can hang them in her room at school.
This weekend, we are getting a bit of white stuff. J has already swept the sidewalk once, but he'll have to do it again! It stopped snowing just long enough for me (H) to take a few photos, and now... it is snowing again.
We always look forward to getting photographs from friends.
This is a new piece of artwork that we got from J's parents for Christmas. The painting is by a local artist, Susan Copas.
Here's Smokey, doing her thing (sleeping). To the right of the photo, you'll see our African carving on the wall (from H's aunt Marilyn, who often works in Africa). The photo and frame hanging on the wall in the entry is from J's sister.
